What is Coming2U Mods?

Coming2U Mods is a small, independent shop making interactive, hand-painted mods for modern pinball machines.

Which machines are your mods compatible with?

Each product page lists compatibility clearly in the description.

For example:

  • Dungeon Delve – designed for Stern Dungeons & Dragons (Spike 2)

If you’re unsure whether a mod will fit your machine, reach out via the contact page before ordering and I’ll confirm.

Are your mods plug-and-play? How hard is the install?

Install difficulty varies by mod, but most are designed to be owner-installable if you’re comfortable lifting the playfield and unplugging a few connectors.

I provide step-by-step instructions and installation videos. If you ever get stuck, you can reach out via the contact page for help.

Will your mods change gameplay or scoring?

No. The goal is enhancement, not alteration.

Mods generally hook into existing flashers, switches, or power and respond to events that already happen in the game. They don’t modify how the game plays.

If a mod ever does something unusual, it will be clearly described on the product page.

How does the waitlist work?

When a mod is in development or between batches, you may see a “Join Waitlist” option instead of a normal purchase button.

In general:

  1. You enter your email to join the waitlist.
  2. This does not charge you at that time.
  3. When a new batch is ready (or nearly ready), I’ll contact people on the waitlist—usually in order—with details and a link to purchase.
  4. If you’ve changed your mind, you can simply unsubscribe or send a reply when you receive a purchase link.

Do you charge my card immediately for waitlist items?

No. If a product page says “Join Waitlist” or clearly indicates it’s a waitlist only, you will not be charged at that moment.

If pre-orders or deposits are ever offered in the future, the product page will clearly state that your card will be charged when you complete checkout.

When in doubt, check the text on the product page and in the cart before you pay.

What are your lead times?

Lead times can vary based on:

  • Current batch size
  • Paint queue
  • Parts availability

In general:

  • In-stock items usually ship within 2–3 business days.
  • Waitlisted / pre-order items will have an estimated timeframe noted on the product page or in communication when your spot comes up.

Because this is a small shop, there may occasionally be slight delays—if that happens, I’ll do my best to communicate updates.

Do you ship internationally?

I currently ship primarily within the US and EU.

If you’re outside that region and interested in a mod:

  • Check if your country is available at checkout.
  • If not, message me via the contact page with your location and which mod you’re interested in. I can often quote shipping or let you know if/when international options will be added.

Please note: international buyers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, or import taxes charged by their country.

Will installing a mod void my pinball warranty?

Most mods are designed to be non-destructive and reversible—they plug into existing connectors and mounting points whenever possible.

That said, only the manufacturer or your distributor can give an official answer about your warranty. If you’re concerned, you may want to:

  • Check your machine’s warranty terms, and
  • Ask your distributor how they feel about aftermarket mods.

What is your return / refund policy?

There is a dedicated Refund Policy page linked in the footer with the full details.

In general:

  • If an item arrives damaged or defective, contact me within a reasonable time (ideally within 7 days) with photos and your order number, and I’ll work with you to repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.
  • Returns for change of mind are more limited due to the small-batch, hand-made nature of these mods, but you can always reach out and we’ll see what’s possible.

Please refer to the Refund Policy page for the most up-to-date and detailed terms.

What if my mod arrives damaged?

If something breaks in transit:

  1. Take clear photos of:
    • The shipping box (outside)
    • The packing materials
    • The damaged part(s)
  2. Message me via the contact page or reply to your order confirmation email.

From there we’ll figure out whether repair, replacement parts, or a full replacement makes the most sense.

Are the sculpts really hand-painted? Will mine look exactly like the photos?

Yes, the sculpts are hand-painted, often in small batches.

Because of that:

  • Each piece will be slightly unique.
  • Minor variations in shading, weathering, or highlights are normal and part of the charm.

The goal is always to match the overall look and feel shown in product photos and videos as closely as possible.

Do you offer custom work or commissions?

Custom or one-off pieces are sometimes possible, depending on schedule and complexity.

If you have:

  • A specific game you’d like a mod for, or
  • A variation of an existing mod you’d like to discuss,

Message me via the contact page and I can let you know whether it’s doable and give a rough idea of cost and timeline. Bear in mind, a custom mod that’s interactive with lights and movement will be expensive.

How do I get support if I run into issues?

If you have any problems with install or operation:

  1. Check the install instructions or video linked on the product page.
  2. If that doesn’t solve it, reply to your order email or reach out via the contact page with:
    • Your order number
    • The mod you’re installing
    • A short description of what’s happening
    • Photos or a short video, if possible

I’ll work with you to troubleshoot and get your mod running correctly.
