Coming2U Cube Installation Guide

Installation Steps

1. Remove the stock cube.
Take out the 2 screws on the outside of the stock cube and remove the original piece from the game.

2. Remove the 2 front screws on the platform underneath.
There are 2 additional front screws on the platform area under the cube mount. Remove those and keep them nearby, since you’ll reuse them during installation.

3. Set the rear feet of the Coming2U Cube into place.
Position the cube so the rear feet slide down over the two screw slots in the back. The cube should drop into the stock location once those rear feet are aligned.

4. Align the front feet with the front metal tab and screw holes.
Bring the front of the cube into position so the front feet line up over the metal tab and the front screw holes.

5. Reinstall the 2 front screws through the PETG feet channels.
Reinsert the front screws through the channel in the PETG feet and tighten them down. Those PETG feet are there to help protect the silicone from the metal tab and screws.

6. Tighten until the screws clearly catch.

**CAREFUL - ensure the cube skin does not touch screwdriver shaft or it will wrap around it during this step. Push cube material back from screwdriver shaft while working.
As you tighten, make sure the screws are actually threading. The screw will feel likes its lined up to the screwhole sometimes without threading. It should only take a couple turns to tighten.

Install Tips

  • You can flex the cube somewhat during installation to create room for the screwdriver.
  • Use one hand to hold the cube skin out of the way and the other to guide the screwdriver into the front screws.
  • Be firm, but not reckless. A customer reported that being too aggressive with the screwdriver angle near the front “ooze” detail could tear the silicone.

If the Front Screws Are Hard to Reach

Remove the two screws holding the small plastic pieces above the feet mounting area, rotate those plastics slightly out of the way, install the cube, then move them back and re-tighten. 

Final Check

After installation:

  • Confirm the cube sits squarely in the stock location
  • Confirm the front screws are fully threaded and snug
  • Gently move the cube to verify it is secure and free to wobble naturally during play

 replacement servo.
